Let go of the titles & identifications
The very basis of identification begins with the thought “I AM” and is further solidified by titles and descriptions upon that identity. Identification creates separation, as it distinguishes between me and you, us and them.
Although it is a natural occurrence for the egoself to distinguish, entertaining new identities such as sacred feminine this or that, spiritual guide, womb healer, soul doula, gatekeeper, star seed, channel, earth angel, twin ray, healer etc instead creates titles that become labels one can get attached to.
The ego loves feeling special and unique, in playing that role, and it is strengthened rather than getting revealed and dissolved as an illusion.
This is not to say that these roles are not helpful to some, or that the concepts mentioned in this series of posts are not true. On a certain level of perception of the egoself, they are true, just not the Absolute Reality of your true nature, and there will come a point when You Will Be Ready To Leap Beyond.
If realisation of the true nature of Self is not the absolute priority, the “egoself fulfillment” will sneak in and take precedence.
If Enlightenment, Supreme Truth and Freedom, is what you long for, then give up all these concepts. They are not bad. They are not wrong. But you can dismiss it all as simply not IT and rest in the unknown wordless space of being, uncolored by thought. Let it unfold from there. Your contribution to the world will increase a thousand fold.
”Learn to look without imagination, to listen without distortion: that is all. Stop attributing names and shapes to the essentially nameless and formless, realise that every mode of perception is subjective, that what is seen or heard, touched or smelt, felt or thought, expected or imagined, is in the mind and not in reality, and you will experience peace and freedom from fear.”Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
“The fact is that we don’t want to be free. What is responsible for our problems is the fear of losing what we have and what we know.”
